Jesus is the author and the finisher of our faith. You cannot rewrite His story and avoid eternal consequences. Esoteric documents may show up with frayed edges and Old World appeal, but if they contradict the Word of God, remember this, the Word of God will stand forever. It’s His Word against yours. When every diabolical document has deceased; when every foreign fable that attacks Christian faith has failed; when every Christ hating creed has crumbled; when every media-made mocking manuscript has burned up in apocalyptic fires, the Word of God will still be standing. IT’s better than earthquake retrofitted buildings designed to withstand major earthquakes in highly seismic areas. It’s stronger than man-made sea walls built to hold back storm surges and tsunami waves. Because when everything has been shaken in the world, and when every roaring wave of hurricane and tsunami terror has done its worst, The Word of God will be eternally strong, unmoved, centered at the everlasting throne of God, and comforting to the myriad of believers who took its pages, principles, and power to be their high ground, their safe ground.
